Our Land Rover Range Rover L405 is grounded, because it is a serious death trap. Land Rover did not issue a safety recall at this time in Germany, which leaves many owners lifes exposed to a large risk.
Please check out our video to learn about the high risk. Immediately check out if your L405 or L494 is effected as well.
We are not liable for any harm you do to your car, your engine, your surroundings or yourself. Use the information given in this video at your own risk.

Hello Christian and Vera,
I noticed that you are using 285/45 tires, which are not the (OEM) size for this vehicle. Have you encountered any issues with the larger tires and taller tire profile? Have you confirmed with the dealership regarding this tire size? I own a 2019 L405 model and am considering switching to the same tire size as yours. Thank you and best regards. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Had both mine done under recall at the end of last year. Both were cracked. 2015 l405.
Good news… My L319 is almost at 500k km… No need to get a project car… I will send you mine!
I checked mine and one side was badly cracked. L405 2013. Living in Sweden and I will find out what the deal is here
Hi Christian, and Vera, another superb video👍I took your advice and checked my Range Rover Sport L494 which is a 2014 model and neither side has any cracks. Its befor the control period but the uprights look identical. Over 160k miles (crank renewed at 138k) what changed n 2014 to cause concern?
3 weeks summer holidays and you stayed at home ?
👍
why is the l322 no option? lol its the only good landrover product ever made……
good to watch this
Forget the Jag, find an old Land Rover…….
Don’t buy the Jaguar. Preferably buy a Range Rover Sport SVR
The Queen identifies as RHD….
If it starts, if it was built and designed by JLR, then yes it's a deathtrap.
17:15. . .. . and India!
Liebchen Christian, how can you say "I don't think this fracture…happened in those 8,000 km where I drove that vehicle since [the TüV inspection]". Eigentlich? What FACTS do you have in support of this? You know that Aluminium has zero yield strength; the failure could have happened at any time.
Hi Vera, you should do a joint video with Sarah N Tune. She speaks some German. 😊
"stupid queen" 🤣
Great video guys Very useful update & information , enjoyed watching 👍🏼👍🏼
Buy the jag it will mean more videos from you and Vera
26:14 Vera wears the trousers here! 😅😂
This is a serious failure. Can you consider aluminium is the right material in this car part.
No, this is a very, very serious failure!!!
Please buy the Jaguar XJ, they are possibly the last great Jaguar combustion engined car manufactured. You won't regret owning a future classic.
great video and explanation thanks, I love your sense of humour too, keep up the great work 🙏
Excellent work as always!
I’m amazed that Land Rover have restricted this recall to RHD vehicles.
I assume these are exactly the same parts on LHD vehicles, which will make them liable if / when one fails in the USA and the US lawyers get on the scent of a big payout……… 😬
Always feel better after my weekly LR Time fix 😎👍 One quick question, why would you not consider an L322? Too many other channels already making content? Just interested in your reasons. Dave
The XJ is beautiful! I'd love one myself but I think I would still rather have the queen. 🙂
Appreciate you give me your email ….for car technical experience communication
Looks like the wrong bolt over overtightened
