  1. Does anyone know whether or not they’ll eventually make the Women’s tours longer? My take is I’d like to see them do a 3 week tour – but with slightly shorter stages so they finish them in approximately the same time as the men. What’s your opinion?

  2. There’s never been a clear answer from organizations why the women get shorter tours. Someone said it’s about money. They would have to pay out more with extended races. Hopefully as the women’s tour gets more popular, we’ll see it

  3. So upsetting that the first time of the TDFF in The Netherlands is such a snooze fest…. Why in the world did they design a parcours with about 20 elevation meters! They could have at least moved it to the Limburgse heuvels to make it a little more exciting for the world to see the best women cyclists put on a show.

  4. Was able to attend the Grand Depart in person😊. Great atmosphere and delighted to see huge crowds lining the route, at least in all urban areas. Pity the stage itself was so dull🤷‍♂️

  5. Im pretty sure Grace Brown did the Team Pursuit for australia too so she shouldnt be too bad over 6km either. The US did win gold though.

  6. To my knowledge, Sifan Hassan ran 42.195 km, just like the men this past weekend…. No idea why they feel to make these stages so short. I recognize the depth in the women’s peloton is much smaller, but 100km races are recreational rides, not full professionals.

  7. Interesting that Pikaluk rode the Omnium on Sunday at the Olympic Games and made the start of the TDF Femmes, yet other riders could not make it. I wonder if it was the riders or management who made the decision.

  8. It's a shame about Tashkent. All the effort they made to accrue points, but their riders apparently weren't ready for the tour. Another team in better shape could've had that spot. Great win by Kool though!

  9. Just when I thought I couldn't like you guys more, I love B99 and Andre Braugher is also my favorite! Oh and a move ticket in nyc costs $22-$24. Popcorn and soda would cost another $10-$15.

  10. Anyone else watching on peacock have audio issues? The levels are way off, its super quiet playing in my app. I had to turn the volume all the way up on my phone, then I deafened myself when i played something else 😂

  11. In the US the large movie popcorn is physically impossible for 3 people to finish because it's so much popcorn. Half of it always ends up getting thrown out. The large soda is like a 4XL as well.

  12. Oh Patrick – you made my laugh out loud with your Scottish accent (15:40mins). This definitely needs to be part of future podcasts for the TDF Femmes: "And now – Patrick mocks someone in a Scottish accent!" Best podcast out there, thanks Patrick and Benji [Marc from the Gold Coast, Australia]
