Slovenia is the northernmost country on the Trans Dinarica cycle route and, according to the planned direction of the route, the first of the eight countries. Because of its geographical, economic and cultural position somewhere on the border from the Balkans and the so-called Western Europe is the best start for someone who wants to discover this part of the planet for the first time.

In Slovenia, Trans Dinarica will take you from the edge of the Triglav National Park through the Soča Valley to three wine-growing regions, the Goriška Brda, the Vipava Valley and the Karst, and finally to the lesser-known but no less beautiful area of Brkini and Ilirska Bistrica.

We have also prepared an alternative route that visits two of the most famous sights in Slovenia, Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle.
