You couldnt show Rooth, the gold medal winner in all his 10 events? Horrible recap and Rooth deserved to be celebrated with more than this lousy clip. He is only 22. his first ever medal at adult level. He is the first medalist in this event for Norway in 124 years.
He is also the youngest olympic decathlon gold medal winner since Daley Thompson in 1980, who was also 22.

this is truly impressive, perhaps the hardest gold medal to achieve in the Olympics, the male Decathlon, that is a feat in itself, but in addition, from a country where the winter sports dominate, and where being a winner is discouraged. Huge congratulations. very impressive. In addition, watch the athletes congratulate and thank each other for the two days of intense effort.

We might be only 0.8% of the planet's population, but we are everywhere.
Haaland, Ingebrigtsen, Ruud, Warholm(!), Rooth and so many other young ones are out-performing everyone in sports we are not really "meant" to be good at, like hurdles or football.
