    1. Hmmm i thought it was an accodent, was glad they restarted. But watched it now a few times in the replay, it reallt doesn't look like an accident.

Anyone seen interviews of them after the race about this? What did they say?

    2. The reporters calling it ''not intentional'' is a joke! He looked right at him, he knew he was right there!! DQ all day long!

    3. There are just certain sports where Britons are at such an advantage, for just being British. I dont have anything against the athletes, they all give it their all to perform at the races, however the British bias is getting real old and probably wont change anytime soon.

    4. This was in no way an accident, or "not intentional" as the British commentators called it. He looked Hoogland straight in the eye and turned into him. How can a rider be on a warning already, nearly take someone down and not be disqualified? Probably one of the worst calls in sports I've ever seen.

The commentators trying to justify it by saying the crowd wants to see a race. They want a fair race, which this wasn't. In an interview with Dutch tv, Roy van den Berg mentioned that Carlin left the sprinters lane. Van den Berg was in the team spring that won gold.

    5. A disgrace for track cycling, not only the crash into Hoogland. But he also came above the red line against the Japanese, only getting a warning and he still advanced. Then he crashed into the Dutch he got nothing, then he came above the red line again and he got nothing!

    6. This was utter BS. The Brit clearly did that on purpose. With that kind of disgusting and aggressive behavior, he should have been disqualified immediately. However, the biased judges will always find a way or an excuse to reward this kind of appalling conduct just because that culprit is a Brit. That's called favoritism, preferential treatment and discrimination, which is unfair and doesn't belong in a fair play. No respect at all for these bunch of hypocrites and liars. Go and celebrate that shameful and unworthy bronze medal and hopefully it will buy you some decency.

    7. a disgrace what happened in this race ! the worst referees in the olympics hand over the bronze medal to jack carling .be ashamed ! carlin knows he ddint deserve this .Bah England why always this help in sports .

    8. He also went clearly out of his sprint lane in the last lap. This clip doesn’t show it because it’s during the shot from his bike. That one was even more clear cut because that rule is black and white. You just can’t do that in a sprint.

    9. Not on purpose, Eurosport kids? When this was not on porpose, nothing is on purpose, kids. Europsort commentators are a shame for humanity.
