It is Saturday 7:20 A.M but after half an hour of cycling I am at the station of Sint-Niklaas. The cycle highway is used a lot during the week but also in the weekend for trips. You can take your bike on the train or put it in the bike shed. The well-known train connections are Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges, Ostend but you can also go to France as an example Lille or Germany Aachen, the Netherlands Maastricht (for a 1 day excursion) and of course also to Paris via Brussels, many possibilities.
