Red Bull, which has been the leading team in Formula 1 in recent years, is encountering unforeseen difficulties in 2024. What started as another season of dominance, marked by impressive victories and standout performances, quickly shifted into a year filled with obstacles and unpredictability. Imagine Max Verstappen crossing the finish line in first place, celebrating yet another commanding win for Red Bull. This was the frequent scene at the start of the season. The Austrian team appeared unbeatable with their RB20, which was clearly ahead of the competition. However, the situation has changed dramatically, and Red Bull now finds itself struggling. In recent races, we’ve observed something unusual: Red Bull being surpassed by multiple teams. What has happened to that seemingly invincible team? The explanation isn’t straightforward, but it involves several elements that we’ll examine in this video. From the exit of key team members to car development issues, pressure on Sergio Perez, and the difficulties faced even by three-time champion Max Verstappen, we’ll delve into what’s happening behind the scenes at Red Bull and why 2024 might signify the end of their era of dominance in Formula 1. 2. They were cheating. They were doing something shady with the breaks. Ever since maxs break caught fire and blew up they have fell off a cliff. FIA found out something illegal they were doing at that time and told them to change it or they would go public. That’s why they added a specific clause to close the cheat in the rules a few weeks ago.
