  1. i think TDF, Giro, Vuelta should start looking at a 2 week race . Maybe not immediately. But def. 5 years down the road

Without VDP, Phillipsen does not win many stages.

  2. Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio crashed in early June at Volta a Catalunya Femenina, where she broke her T10 vertebrae. She has been recovering and is back in the peloton.

  3. I don't understand what's going on at SD workx with Vollering, like has she pissed off half the team or something? Even on races when she's clearly the strongest rider they don't seem to work as a team , I really hope Lotte not being there means that we'll see them support Demi.

Cool feature from join cycling, periods make such a huge difference to performance and yet there's not really much info out there at normal person level about how workouts/efforts can and should change. Like I know I'd perform worse but I was never sure how much worse and for how many days I was impacted.
I remember Paula Radcliffe saying that she used to shift her period a few months in advance of a big marathon so they didn't coincide, because she didn't perform as well when she was on the pill or on her period, but it's still not discussed much.

  4. Best coverage of women’s cycling. You knuckleheads deserve a huge thank you from those of us who love to watch & follow women’s cycle racing.

  5. Thanks for the in-depth preview! Look forward to seeing what Puck does. I know Vollering is the strong favorite, but I don't want to see SD Worx dominate.

  6. On stage 7, the second last climb starts with a nasty little kicker followed by a bit of flat then a long drag to the top. I would expect tailwind in the afternoon so shit could start their easily. Vollering did recon the last part of that stage I think

  7. Patrick thinking Americans take holidays is the most hilarious, heartbreaking thing I have ever heard! We get two weeks of vacation time per year, this country is cooked 😉

  8. Thanks guys, great insight as ever – I realise I coukd have done more myself, but you have almost single- (double-?)handedly brought women's cycling to an interest level consistent with the mens' for me 👌👍

  9. So excited and I've way too many favorite riders!
Not kidding, since I'm already an elder female athlete who's fought my whole life in America to not be treated like a small man, I can't wait for my next life so I can be born in BE, train properly with adaptive Join Cycling, and be the next great CX/MTB/RR star 🎉
