We got to Canterbury with the van in limp mode and decided to spend the day there before trying to get it fixed.
We stayed on the New Dover Road park & ride and would recommend it.

    1. Helen is like an angel. What you see in James is beyond us,haha.James ! Stop your moaning.Students, bag pipes, etc.Canterbury Catheral is so beautiful,i sang their many moons ago as part on a visiting choir.James, you go to a service because you feel you need too,not because it's free…

    2. Canterbury looks lovely, the boats on the water with the "punters" was nice but expensive – what a shame. Okay James, you made me cry at the Jim Croce tune, "I'll have to say I love you in a song". I have to go to work in an hour so my make-up is on, crying is NOT an option at this moment haha, so I literally muted half the song portion. It's such a lovely tune – he died too young – "Time in a bottle" crushes me. But it was a lovely song to celebrate your love for Helen. Nice video and glad to see you both healthy after the food poisoning.

    3. James aint no whiner all good comedy double acts are not the same they bounce off each other with different types of humour keep up the good work guys

    4. 8 years working in London , I had rules , one golden rule I had was never run for a tube , bus or train . You look like a wazzock when you miss it 🙂🦉

    5. I have to comment…AGAIN…after reading a lot of these comment's…
I HONESTLY cant BELIEVE…that people cant "get" that the moaning/whinging etc…is ALL PART OF THEIR BANTER!
      Jesus…its what makes it entertaining!
Have none of you ever watched classic British comedy…like…
      Rising Damp?
      Porridge?
      Dads Army?
      Its FULL of moany banter!!!
I think its hilarious!…and ADDS to the fun of the video! 😂
I honestly think that the "dynamic" between James's "Mr Sourpuss Gruff Yorkshireman", and Helen's…
"Miss Optimistic Fun Light Rainbows and Unicorns"…is one of the UNIQUE things that make this channel so enjoyable.
      I really DO.
      😊

    6. Belfast, a great main street plenty of Pubs and lots to see and do. Canterbury seemed a nice place but quite pricey and touristy if you like that sort of thing. I also agree with you that their are similarities to other historic places in the UK like York, Chester, Norwich, Winchester etc. James, you are a true Yorkshire Man, long arms, short pockets! 😂 Only kidding, thanks again to you both for the great video and keep them coming. 👍

    7. Just found you after Rick Stein chippy. Made me laugh a few times. Didn’t like Margate much… liked the little shops though. I’ve always wanted to try an oyster but avoided it so far. I eat fish every other day though. You’re in Broadstairs now. I like your style and that accent is fab’ I’m near the Severn Bridge. I’m a fish and chip connoisseur. They’re not cheap as chips 😆 forgot where you went all told but that dreamworld wasn’t a good idea. Up in that Big Wheel I wouldn’t want to be below you lol. What noticed you said you liked the beach at the previous place but it was full of pigeons. My pet hate lol
Lots of changing huts. Ok it’s my sleep time. Enjoy your hotel for the night and thanks for sharing 👋

    8. People who have nothing nice to say should either unsubscribe or say nothing at all people who comment on other’s relationships must have a crap relationship themselves 💁🏻‍♀️ probably doesn’t know how to treat a woman right I love watching you both just jealousy on there part

    9. Brilliant video❤😂 i agree with you about the prices these Cathedrals charge , me and my other half went to Norwich Cathedral last year, it was magnificent, we put a donation in even though it was free . Keep doing what you are doing, lots of love to you and Helen ❤❤

    10. I live in Thanet so Canterbury is my nearest city, 23 miles away. I like the City Fish Bar and The Goods Shed is a fab foodie experience. Services in Canterbury are a bit hit and miss and as for mobile phone connection, forget it! Cathedral is 25% off with English Heritage membership card. It is expensive cos they actually get no funding from the CofE or other establishment and the upkeep of it is staggering.

    11. Hi James. Just watched one if your videos and you are letting some nasty people get to you. Don't let the bastard's grind you down. Keep going. We love watching you on YouTube. Can't stand the negativity of the normal TV channels. Xxx to you and Helen.

    12.
