In PART 2 of this 2-part clockwise circular cycle route to Boroughbridge in North Yorkshire, from Great Ouseburn, west of York, we head on the Way of the Roses cycle route from Boroughbridge through the villages of Aldborough, Lower Dunsforth and Upper Dunsforth before arriving back at Great Ouseburn where we go and visit the little church in Little Ouseburn and learn about Anne Bronte’s 5 years at a local stately home which ended when her brother, Branwell Bronte, had a fling with the lady of the manor!!

Nice ride. Not an area I've cycled extensively tbh. Once did a loop starting from Boroughbridge taking in Bedale and up to Darlo and back round avoiding roads I had already been on.
Not a route I personally would have planned but I was riding with someone attempting an annual mileage record.
As it turned out, we didn't hit it off (we'd never met before the ride) and we spent most of the day 50 yards apart. I eventually peeled off and did my own thing 😂
