E’tape 2024 is a full 4 course menu in my opinion. Weather was not as hot as 2023 edition, but was still in the early thirties mid day. Basically 4 ridiculously long climbs crammed in 86 miles with. 4600D+ meters of elevation gain.
Countless bottles of hydration and only two leaks. Not sure where 6-8 litres of water went.
Ride started at nice promenade da anglaise but finishes up a mountain top -col da couillole. The route is same as the stage -20 of the tour da France pros ride. Day 20 with long climbs at going to be brutal even pros.
