The full force of the west coast climate greeted me as I left Stavanger heading north to Bergen. Three days of rain and cold weather was a wake-up call to how tough this coastline can be. But we persevered and were treated to beautiful views as we road into Norway’s prettiest town, Bergen.

    1. Amazing! Im planning this route for next summer. I am trying to figure out how to deal with the rain. I guess there is no other chance but to get completely soaked right?
Are you happy with the Apidura bags? Thank you for sharing your adventures! and congrats on the super cool edits!

    2. Love the videos Matthew, I'd like to see a bit more detail, camping set up, bike set up, what's in your bags and how you fuel yourself over these big rides. Thanks for your content. 👍🏻

    3. Hi Matthew, love your videos ! As I am moving to Stavanger soon, I am finding a lot of inspiration and tips for my first bikepacking trips ! I may contact you when I am there to get more info if you don't mind 😉

    4. Great video, keep it coming. How do you like the hoover bar on your Canyon? Myself I have a Grail AL but thinking to get me a SL, more comfort in that bar in your opinon?

    5. Hello again! I'm planning (lockdown permitting) an Oslo – Bergen or Oslo Stavanger bike trip this summer. I've watched both your videos and can't decide which to opt for. I'm a fairly experienced 'bikepacker' – if you had to choose one which would you suggest?

    6. I’ve watched several of your videos, and it’s fun to see you ride on several of the same roads as I’ve ridden, and ones I plan to ride. I grew up on Bømlo, so it was extra special to see a few shots from there 😊

    7. I feel your pain… I was on a bike packing tour. Day 8 thought I had got to my destination ..Had a beer ,coffee and a bacon buttie. Then realised I had another 11 miles to go all uphill..mentally I had switched off and those 11 miles were so hard.. it makes you appreciate the good days. You do what you have to do.. At times touring is more mental than physical…. Great video's. Really like your editing style. Top stuff.

    8. Great Vid! I'm planning a similar trip. How long did your trip take and how far did you cycle each day? What's the deal with booking the ferries…can you pay for them when you turn up or is it pre booked….Is there an app or website for them? I'm undecided whether to cycle from Oslo to Bergen of from kristiansand to Bergen. Any advice would be very appreciated. Thank you

    9. Hard not to love all of your videos. And feel your pain in some of them. Lol.
Do you speak Norwegian? And work there, like in country?

    10. I was thinking about Stavanger to Bergen, after doing Tvedestrand to Stavanger on my e-trike. Not too sure after watching that video. I generally wait for better weather, though.
