Beach Volleyball features two teammates covering their entire side of the court, and in one rally they serve, dig, block and hit a ball, played in sand, barefoot. What a grand time they must have, right? I find the idea completely crazy! But, they get the job done and serve-by-serve it is fascinating.
Since my childhood, volleyball nets are so much more common as a feature on beaches. Instead of going for a swim, people on the beach are quite likely to pick up a game.
I love the beach, but I love to sit on the beach under an umbrella, and body surf in the wave with family.
My stitch today is from Tiny Modernist “Stitch Together” stitch pattern.

  2. Hi Sallie! Just ran on to your floss tube and glad I did because I was wanting to start Olympic stitching. I’m late to the party. But it looks like fun.
