Giannis Antetokounmpo’s quest to get an Olympic medal ended sadly early on Tuesday morning as Greece lost to Germany 76-63. Giannis still leads the entire Olympics in scoring but his teammates couldn’t take advantage of the space Germany allowed them while constantly sending help Giannis’ way. Ti Windisch and Adam McGee discussed the disappointing result and tough road forward from here for the Greek side before diving into thoughts on the rest of the tournament. Finally, they covered the Bucks final signing of the offseason as Milwaukee added 7 footer Anzejs Pasecniks as the third two-way, completing a pretty fun potential Wisconsin Herd lineup with the rookies and two-ways.

    1. They shouldn't be totally done w/ the roster. Don't hold onto Marjon due to stubbornness. He's expendable. And we need an athletic big. Sign the best one from the Olympics – Caboclo or Lessore.

    2. Giannis is so unlucky. Its sad to say that there is a good chance he might retire without winning any medal in any competition with the Greek NT. If Giannis could somehow timetravel and join the 2005-2010 GNT, they would win every fin competition imaginable. If Giannis had Diamantidis/Papaloukas/Spanoulis/Zisis as his guards, Lazos/Sxortsianitis as his centers and Fotsis/Kakiouzis/Tsartsaris as his fellow forwards…not even the US NT would have a chance. Its sad for Greek NT that Giannis coinsided with the worst decade of Greek talent drought. It honestly hasnt been this bad since the early '80s, but when as a country you have 0 sport culture and 0 serisouness at developing your young talents, thats to be expected.
