    1. Strange that she didn't raise her arms… or acknowledge in any way that she won.
Didn't know where the line was? Didn't know she won? 🤔

Remco was the total opposite. Too much, imo.

    2. I'm still screaming and crying over Kristen -the-Arctic-Fox, and now Mr LRCP is wearing the US flag! US wins the RR gold, beats The GOAT, beats current WC from Belgium, and a fab young CX/MTB/RR champ in Blanka Vas. OMG OMG OMG ❤🎉

    3. Looks like someone was targeting Chloe Dygert with a green laser during this road race. You can clearly see it during the NBC race replay at 3:08:01 and 3:08:25. Is that what goes riders have to deal with from spectators or was it some sort of measuring device?

    4. Fariba Hashimi was super strong, enjoyed watching her smash in the break! Very happy for Faulkner as well, definitely chose her moment perfectly! HUGE WIN!

    5. I love the 4D chess of the US bringing Dygart. They knew she was going to crash, holding up competitors behind. That meant that the strategy was just to have Faulkner ride ahead of Dygart and wait for the dominos to come crashing down. Gold medal strategy.

    6. Take a photo of the map page Patrick and then at least you can zoom in on the page
Have to admit the first Garmin 705 I had never once used it for navigation 😂😂

    7. Patrick, are you implying that Politt's sudden increase of level has to do with the preparation at UAE? I noticed the same thing with Valter at Visma… How is it possible that world tour level teams have such differences of level with the same riders? I find it hard to understand.

    8. Love the podcast but dead wrong on saying Chloe Dygert "lacks skill". She's won repeatedly at the highest levels and clearly is one of the best riders in the world. You neglect to compare to Wout's crash or even Marianne Vos' bad crashes just over the last year. At this level everyone is pushing the limits and your criticism of Dygert was over the top and unwarranted.

    9. I really appreciate the deep dives you do in the women's races.

The discussion on race radioes and team sizes is always going to be a matter for discussion. I've only followed the sport a few years and it's always a topic of interest. I know team sizes change a bit, but it won't be a factor of if I watch or not. Probably isn't a factor for most. If it could increase safety- either topic-then I'm all for it. Keep us posted or continue the discussion. I like following the comments to see if there are other ways to consider the outcomes.

    10. In 2023 Faulkner was hit by a car while training in California at nigt and fractured her knee. She spent basicallty the whole season recovering, which is why you see the gap in results that year.
