  1. Spot on Tim . The houses will not be affordable housing it's all a big con I'm afraid . It's a national scandal that there are thousands of new build social houses that are unoccupied because housing assoscations cannot afford to buy them . All along Woodbourn road were terraced council houses which were demolished in the late 70s and the people who lived there were scattered all over Sheffield . I never understand why these old houses were demolished all at the same time why not do it gradually and rebuild the area street by street to give people chance to return to their own community if they so wished instead of just wiping it off the face of the earth.

  2. There were 4 pubs on Worksop Road that I knew of, the Britania, the Cutlers, The Cocked Hat and the White Hart. I didn't know that Islamic place used to be a pub. We used to go down there late 70's early 80's Friday and Saturday night. Wasn't Brown Baileys where the stadium used to be?
