Filip Polc triumphs in Red Bull Ride The Palace. The Slovak needed only 1 minute and 12 seconds to fly from the roof of National Palace of Culture in Sofia through the 7-floor course and land at the marble tiles around the monumental building, an iconic symbol of the communist era in Bulgarian history. Red Bull Ride the Palace challenged 60 riders from 6 countries to compete at a unique urban DH course that attracted a few thousand young people from the capital city, crowded together to witness a never before seen mountain bike race.

I was there i mean i was a spectator,but the race felt slow and the course was not big enough for DH bikes.Some1 would have been way faster on a 4x/slope bike

Infront of this palace 25 years ago jumping with my bmx some stairs I nearly killed a small baby of 1,5 y.old.it was horrible I saw it below my bike and somehow in the last moment I moved on the right side and fell about 5cm. of it.than I saw the eyes of his father.He was staring at me like a killer but I was already too far away to catch me…

I was actually there.You are right most of the people that ride and were there thought we could do it on a DJ hardtail or perfectly on a slopestyle bike.I think the helmets and the rest of the protection was required to enter.Still a slope bike would be SO much faster here.
