On this one we start at Warrington railways station then head south along the canals.

Gonna start calling you Dave ja vu.
Nice one Dave and Ian. No plan, I like that mentality a lot as you know! 👍🍺🍺😎
I’m sure I’ve seen this before 👀
Its all good even second time round…. just done 3hrs in heavy traffic and walked in a sat watching this 🙂
I've cycle toured about half the UK canal network, about 1000 miles over the last seven years. I was on the Trent and Mersey, the Middlewich, the Shropshire Union, the Llangollen and the Montgomery canals last year. If you haven't got one, get yourself a canal facilities key, from the Canal and River Trust website, about £10. It will give you access to all the locked water points and hot shower and toilet facilities. Anyone can buy a key, it's not just for boaters. The Open Canal Map app shows all the water points and shower and toilet facilities. Great video.
It's really a wonderful bikepacking tour you both experience, Dave and Ian. Warm and enthusiastic greetings from "Tugu Pal Putih" or The White Monument, The Special Territory of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
Would love to do a similar canal bike trip soon. Did you just use your phones for maps/directions etc?
What about charging your phones?
Please Ian, wear a helmet, it only takes a slow speed off & an unfortunate head hit, for a life changing event…which no one wants.
We have all been caught out in absolute downpours, it's all part of it 😅😂. Spent time in the area many years ago doing work at British Salt.
Fantastic Dave and Ian. Real cyclists that so many people can relate to.😊
