Welcome to the latest episode of Every Platform! In today’s video I am back in London and Surrey, this time covering the Hounslow Loop Line as well as the remaining SWR lines in the area (Chertsey Line and Waterloo to Reading Line). Services are seen by South Western Railway.

Thanks for this latest video . Incidentally there was something unusual at Truro station as two class 67 engines with a few trucks seemed to be stabled there.
Love the Hounslow loop, great video
I lived 10 minutes walk from Martins Heron railway station between 2007 – 2017. The station was opened in the late 1980's, but was actually paid for by Tesco so that their staff could get to the store. The Tesco store when I first started living near to Martins Heron, was not open of a Sunday. This was because the Tesco at Martins Heron used to be used for filming the Tesco adverts. There is also connections when it comes to filming for the area to a certain Wizard film series. A few of the scenes for the Wizard film series where filmed around Martins Heron a and surrounding area. Where the Tesco store is located, used to be a recovery centre for military forces staff, until it caught fire and was not down in the mid 1980's.
