i spotted a gpz !!
always my favorite bike
Idiots and bikes not worth a quarter of there price they are paying just 100% hype it will sit in your shed 24 x 7 after 5 years it will be sold have you ridden it maybe 3 times total fools and there money easy parted.
900 fireblades galore on ebay circa 3k-4k. You can't give them away. Nobody want them. As for DUCATI'S they release a SPECIAL model every week. They KILL the second hand market as every idiot wants a new one
Im willing to pay 50,000 for the blonde if she's brand new and unresterd 😉🥂🤣❗
I dropped off the RD250LC, beautiful bike 👌
People are buying a lot of motorcycles, the motors are just electric now.
My take is that I can make electricity if I'm out in the middle of nowhere but I can't make gas; that's why I'm a fan of PEV.
People just cant afford them at them prices and are some of them really worth it with how many are still left its just straight up monopolies on whos had the biggest collections for the last 30 years or most land to stash them and most havent been ridden ever if at all 😂
I'm 62 and the desire to relive my youth on a motorcycle is receding rapidly
Wish I was there. Thanks for sharing.
It’s not likely that the bottom will fall out of the motorcycle market motorcycles are replacing cars.
As someone in the car world pointed out, prices are determined by nostalgia. Each generation remembers the bikes of their youth, and that prompts them to buy one. As each new generation comes through the desire changes. 1950-1960 cars are now out of favour, being replaced by Capri's and Escorts etc. It makes a lot of sense. An awful lot 'classic' 70's bikes were regarded as rubbish when they were new, yet the dealers describe them as desirable.
Who did Amy's make-up?
Judging by the color of hair / shine from the scalp, young lads have no interest in motorbikes!
Yet prices will barely go down
Mostly rich old blokes who have never even sat on a bike in the room
I'm 66 and recently returned to motorcycling after being sensible for several decades. I found some of the motorcycles I owned in the seventies and eighties. The owners expected a lot more than I was willing to pay. I expect to ride 10,000 km every year and do not want to pay extra for high fuel consumption and need for frequent carburetor adjustments. I opted for an SV650 model 2017. Lower price, lower fuel consumption and fuel injection. I don't find the prices on the auction low at all.
During covid when the place was temporarily awash with money, bike sales went through the roof. So there's actually no shortage of would be buyers. Just money. And with a couple of million households falling off the end of their fixed rate mortgages that's bound to put the brakes on severely. For new bike sales it's even worse because manufacturers had to hike their prices due to post covid inflation.
My very uneducated guess is that we're in a period of adjustment and once people slowly get used to their higher mortgages and receive their pay rises etc – i think sales and prices will bounce back again.
Maybe now is a good time to buy?
THE EXHORBITANT CHARGES IMPLIMENTED BY THESE AUCTION HOUSES ARE KILLING SALES, … SELLERS LISTING CHARGE , … BUYERS PREMIUM, … VAT … [AGAIN !!!]
All bikers hoard more than one bike. Sooner or later there will be more bikes than riders. And 90% of the bikes for sale hold no desireable traits to the common biker. Making a worthy bike worth nothing in practicality.
Yamaha RD 250 and Honda NSR is a legend
Barge pole Destined to sit in a garage owned by Old farts Never to be ridden again,Sold by the estate in 10 years.
Excellent video guys thanks, looks like the auctioneers and bidders prices are on different planets.
