Why banned Russia? Why?
I fully support this…but do that for every country then. Maybe if hardly any countries can compete then sports fans will actually start caring about the bad things their own country does and try to make a difference.

After invading for 2 years, Putin got more votes than ever. It's not the president, nor the government, nor the party, but the people.
Stop applying politics in sports, its discriminatory. Its all about meritocracy not political disputes. Please be fair.

To all people crying about why Israel isnt banned from the Olympic games: Israel hasnt started a war, Russia did. Israel does everything in its power to destroy Hamas, and has a done huge efforts in the past to reach a 2 state solution that was always declined. So if a terrorist Organisation that seeks to annihalate your people attacks your country, perheps youd be more measured in your words. Any country that cares about its people would do what Israel does. And Israel is not intentionally targeting civilians. Hamas weapons are embedded in civilian infrastructure.
The dream of a world coming together united in celebration of sport, community and peace for at least a short while is over.
Any medals won during this olympic games are illegitimate given they never actually competed against some of the worlds best Russian athletes.
