    1. Possibly the motorcycle or the Focus were overtaking another vehicle, but one thing is certain the combined impact speed of the two vehicles was extreme to cause the damage and resultant devastating fire that occurred to deform/incinerate the car and dismantle the bike.

You can see the way the motorcycle has cleaved the car from the drivers side bumper all the way to the dashboard and beyond and continuing to distort the cars roof and integral structure. This is the sort of damage I would expect from the car hitting a reinforced concrete wall at very high speed.

My prayers go out to all those poor souls who have lost their lives in this tragedy and all those who must be deeply affected by this.

    2. By the state of the front end of that ford focus….someone was tankin on! They are strong cars! R.I.P to all involved, that poor girl lost her parents and siblings

    3. Ford Focus made from high strength steel. That must have been 100 mph or more combined impact. Very very sad. If you need to race do it on a track not a public highway.

    4. Swa a man driving a BMW yesterday, he had two Dachshunds on his lap. One was sitting up with their front paws on his right arm looking out the window at me, the other had its front paws on the steering wheel. The guy was grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Incidents are caused by negligence and ignorance, 6 people have died because of that in this instance.

    5. Many have lost family and friends in road accidents, this is a clear cut collision, either the car pulled out to overtake or the bike did. In which case why are so many police and their vehicles plus other services tied up with this. All those that have died cannot say anything but one person made a mistake. This is why things cost so much, in the end the people alive are more important than apportioning blame to a dead human.

    6. Those who drive fast are carried slowly!! I know it's a tragedy, but it's the truth. Slow down, guys!😢😢😢

    7. Heard anout this incedent on radio today ,my heart bleeds for the familys and especially the two babies age 4 and 9 😢,im sorry to say in my experience as a ex truck driver on roads ,for many years im gonna say the biker was probably to blame ,car ended up smashed to pieces and on fire there has ,to be a very high speed impact for just a bike to do that ,to a car im sad to say im sending all sympathies to everyone ,effected by this devastating incedent 😢

    8. I'm sick of these fucking idiots on the roads apparently the motorbike on wrong side of road and now 4 family members dead leaving a wee 11 year orphaned.

    9. If you look on Google Earth street view you can see it’s a 50 mile limit ( not 40) and it’s on the brow of a shallow hill on a slight bend. There’s also some kind of drain and evidence of excess water coming from a ditch or field ? Maybe there was an obstruction on the road ? The location is next to Barnsley golf course on the A61 , about halfway between the lay-by and Warren lane. Coming from the motorcycle side there’s a chevron partition that tapers out before the accident spot. It’s possible the bike was using it to overtake at speed and got it wrong ?

    10. BREAKING – Driver of a grey Porsche 911, arrested on 'suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving!. Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the South Wakefield/North Barnsley area around the time of the incident at 3:45pm

    11. I bike hitting a car wouldn't have that degree of damage. For 6 people to die is shocking. That car had to be doing a huge speed or did it hit a tree. The job of Coroner has a heavy price here.
