C'est une honte, un scandale de faire nager ces athlètes dans de l'eau aussi polluée.
En France, l'hygiène n'a jamais été au top depuis très longtemps.

My sympathies go out to all the female Triatheletes. The start was an absolute farce. With some not hearing the gun. One dived in about 1.5 seconds before everyone else. No one knew what to do. Some more jumped in, then others followed, some still hesitated. And one poor athlete stood still thinking a mis start would be called. No. So she finally followed. The Seine had multi-directional, fast moving, powerful currents going in different directions. The river was almost unswimmable in parts and the athletes struggled having to constantly fight against the currents. Some athletes were pushed into the rafts. It was a total disaster and should never have taken place. The men fared better swimming later in the day. The Siene currents were less strong and the floats and boats were better placed to assist with swimmers being able to swim the course without being pushed into the objects. All in all, it is no wonder that the Olympic Organisers are not showing the swimming part of the triathalon. Just another example of how far these Olympics have fallen from the usual standards provided by other countries. And what idiot decided to put all the athletes on a plant only based diet! Majority ordered in or went out to eat. Athletes also made to sleep on cardboard beds. Some bought beds and camp beds. No AC either! Many bought portable ACs. Paris will be remembered as the most ridiculous and disastrous Olympics ever held. And the digusting and repulsive paradody of The Last Supper offended millions around the world.
