    1. Start with your weight farther back, and *keep your back straight, and your head up*. Quit looking at the ground right in front of you. Don’t forget rule #1: “Look where you’re going because you go where you’re looking”. Looking down at the ground in front of you will make your body want to rotate forward steeling your height. Push your feet forward when your front wheel lifts off the ground while pulling yourself up with your handlebars. EDIT: and if you have a gym handy, go practice on a rowing machine, the motion is almost exactly the same.
