Does anybody have any experience shellacing a frame like uncle ron’s bike here?

Is it as simple as stripping and applying coats of shellac? Will this protect from corrosion? I think it looks cool as heck!

(apologies if this has been discussed in previous threads…i couldn’t find any when looking)

    2. Shellac is pretty easy to work with and it sticks to almost anything. It is not very durable, but touch ups are easy. Because it is very soluble in alcohol you can easily strip it off with denatured alcohol if you don’t like it. Not much to lose, give it a try ¯_(ツ)_/¯
