What a fantastic day it was at the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride! Despite a bit of rain, which only added to the adventure, we powered through the 85km journey and crossed the finish line with smiles on our faces. The rain didn’t slow us down; in fact, it made our accomplishment feel even more rewarding.
The route was challenging yet beautiful, with the support and cheers from the crowd providing an incredible boost along the way. Each pedal stroke was a tribute to those battling heart disease, and knowing we were contributing to such a vital cause kept our spirits high. From the start in London to the vibrant finish in Brighton, every moment was filled with camaraderie and determination.
After the ride, we enjoyed a relaxing evening in Brighton, reflecting on the journey and planning for next year. This ride was not just about the physical challenge, but also about the heartwarming support and the shared mission to fight heart disease.
A huge thank you to all the people who made this amazing day happen, to all the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy, and to all my fellow cyclists who rode with such passion and spirit. See you next year!
