  1. This is really one of the most enjoyable episodes I have watched for a long time. Simple idea, three mate, three amazing bikes a simple goal. But honestly, I hated that fueling was again the rookie error you guys made that meant you didn't make it. I mean your main sponsor has you covered, use a water bottle and some chews and miss the train as it pulls away! I am not mad, I am just disappointed. And everyone knows that's worse.

  2. I loved the group speed challenge. You guys nailed it in the intro; lots of epics, lots of distance challenges, not enough of these group speed challenges. I would be happy to see more.

  3. Nice video guys, decent power numbers too.

My riding buddies and I do these sorts of rides every now and again, as I'm sure a lot of your viewers do.

With this in mind, I think you need to take an honest look at yourselves and go and do it again. With these stipulations:
    1) No drafting behind the camera vehicle, or passing transit vans.. You're only cheating yourselves, oh and the viewers.
    2) Carry your own bottles.
    3) Take enough food and water so that you don't need to stop at the shops. I mean it's really shameful that you STILL can't get fuelling right after all these years of cycling for a living, ESPECIALLY after making countless videos, that you get paid for, telling the rest of us how to do it using your sponsors products..
    4) Plot a flat out and back course, or a loop (one that doesn't go through traffic lights – duh)

That's how the rest of us do these mid life crisis types of rides. Welcome to middle age, it's all downhill from here, but like your video, there's no tailwind.

  4. That was a great watch. Thanks to all concerned. Here's a thing. IF roads were designed with Si's last video in mind (the Motornormativity one) How much harder would this one have been to make? This is the rub to the wonderful every day cycle network idea – Would a chain gang on your usual roads would be even more dangerous if cycle lanes were separate wholly?

  5. Today I did 94km with 900m of climbing at 275W (3,48W/kg) as a training session, 2h 33min and 49sec (what are the odds 😂), I bet you guys make it 👍👍

  6. That effort definitely deserves a like. I have to wonder though, knowing now that on road bikes that trip takes about 2.5 hours, would you try again on TT bikes, Hammer Series style?
