    1. I viewed this differently: France was one of the first countries to be "Romanized" and "Christianized" (way earlier than England, lol)…as such, France has historically been one of the most quintessentially Catholic countries in all of Christendom (Indeed, the papacy has only ever been seated in two countries: Italy/Vatican and, of course, Avignon, France. As such, many view the history of the Church as coextensive with ancient, medieval, and early modern French history (it's hard to think of country with a greater historical claim to Catholicism after Italy than France!) In effect, the French here are mocking themselves. We typically give more license to people when they choose to make fun of themselves, and I don't see why this should be any different. In addition, the French Revolution brought in a right to freedom of expression that allows for the mockery of all things sacred, i.e., religion and monarchy. That's why the French protested so much when an Islamist terrorist killed a high school teacher (Samuel Paty) several years ago, and why the French stood up against Islamist attempts to stifle the freedom of speech during the Charlie Hebdo attack. France is an equal opportunity chastiser of religion, and in this case, at least they chose to parody their own history/religion/culture….too bad people don't get it!

    2. It wasn't the last supper. The guy laying on the table with the beard and the grapes is Dionysis, a Greek god. What was happening was called the bacchanal. It was the traditional opening ceremony of the Olympics in Greece. There were more than 12 people around the table, it had nothing to do with the Last Supper or Jesus or Christianity. It was acknowledging the birthplace of the Olympics and the ceremonies that the Greeks used to do in connection with it. The goat head chain represents G.O.A.T. the great of all time. Come on man

    3. I didn't see the "performance". What did they do? Prance around twerking? I can't imagine there was any skillful, dance moves or intriguing coreography involved.

    4. It was absolutely terrible, it made London 2012 the best ever…God showed his dislike by letting it rain to wash away this dreaful display…

    5. "The Olympics should include everybody", therefore drag queens should re-enact scenes from the Christian faith?
What an idiotic take by the male panelist.

    6. As a Muslim I feel for my Christians. It’s time for every religion to unite and back up for Christianity. I’m sick and tired of the demonic satanic woke and media.

      F$$$ France 🇫🇷
      France needs a reckoning
      There leader Macaroon is dajal
You can take your queersants 🇫🇷

    7. Educate Ur selves before jumping to conclusions it had f all to do with the last supper or any form of Christianity. Look up greek mythology Baccanalia

    8. low quality artists produce disgusting works, promoting LGBT, it turns out that the quality of the French government and society is very worrying.

    9. Not sure if I will be able to eat again after watching that shite opening in Paris.Maybe the gender benders enjoyed it but they are a serious minority hardly worth talking about let alone being able to organise crap like this.

    10. person in glasses has to learn to tone themselves down and stop cutting people off.. so rude and unprofessional.. shut up

    11. they were also doing cross prayer signs, the people next to that last supper catwalk. Some were claiming it wasnt the last supper but something mythological.. sure. Why were they doing cross signs in their dance then + all the rest of the symbolism. Ofcourse there have to be excuses made. To make it all seem ok.

    12. Mathew Laza has such a BRAINLESS take! STOP with the gaslighting! The public is NOT stupid! It was not the inclusion of transgenders and drag queens that was the problem. It was them insulting a world religion that was disgusting and blasphemous!

    13. So sad we have come to this.
These athletes work hard for years for this event and it’s a shame someone has decided to make a political statement and also offend the Christian community!!
      Jesus is coming soon.
