    1. If a certain someone was working on their first fashion collection, would you be willing to take a peek at it? Just to get your thoughts… No one shoulder pieces, promise 🙇‍♀️

    2. I watched this, then made my mum watch it again with me. Immediately after came to see if you reviewed it! I so wish I was there in the crowd… I would cry happy tears 😂

    3. I'm Parisian and just so you know, to us the Olympics are gonna be the hunger games. They shut down some stations in the metro because too many people would go there at the same time (the Louvre, eiffel tower…)

There's already threats being made on trains like arson so I'm really unenthusiastic about even going out of the house period. I don't know how many people to expect during those 16 days but it is gonna be BAD.

    4. I think there was a lot more to the phasion show than the video showed. In the end, there were plenty models for the final run, almost as many as the performers. The video seemed to focus on the performance aspect a bit more. I do not think that it was more of a performance than a show.

    5. I love the grounded reality of this channel!!!
Retirement took a toll on my finances, but with my involvement in the digital market, $47,000 weekly returns has been life changing. AWESOME GOD❤️

    6. Stuff You Missed in History Class has a great episode on fashion during ww2 paris. YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO IT. they def skipped most of this in this show. Also: I'm literally grinding my teeth with any chanel from the 1940s. She was a Naz! Supporter.

    7. Loved the show…wish it had been slower, more focused. I felt like I was watching a 3-ring circus….due mostly cause it was a circle. Quick glimpse of beautiful, iconic fashion that would have benefited from a slower pace. As a swimmer, I was interested in how swimming, as a sport, would integrate with fashion and was pleasantly surprised at those great striped outfits. And the the dancers (acrobats not real swimmers) dancing up and down through the blue fabric waves. My favorite scene of the entire show was the robust bearded male holding and waving the blue wave fabric. He had a big smile on his face and is probably many of the French locals/volunteers that are having the time of their lives supporting (and proud) of the cities efforts in hosting the Olympics.

    8. Dear Luke, As usual, you were beyond wonderful in this review. The fashion show/speed-walking/celebrity-laced spectacle did nothing for me. Thanks for letting us know who was wearing whom. You are great and I love this channel.

    9. Oh, Luke… 1960s, Oui. I was a fan of the Avengers and the stylish but ass-kicking Mrs. Emma Peel – particularly when played by Diana Rigg beginning in 1965. The outfits, one piece jumpsuits, vinyl, miniskirts and boots were just terrific (Pierre Cardin). They made her sultry and tough. Great memory for me. Your reminder of clothing and history is appreciated. xoxo
