Iceland – Mountain Biking along Volcanoes & Waterfalls
Five Norwegians settle out to ride the incredible IMBA Epic Laugavegur Route in Iceland with some variations. We encountered mighty volcanos and massive waterfalls, magnificent weather and some good riding in between. Check out this bikepacking adventure!
My hats off to you guys. Excellent footage. Gives me that adventure feel and excitement that I get when riding. Incredible. Why are these videos not on the front page of pinkbike?
Stunning video from my magnificent country. I´m planning this same trip this upcoming summer and it would help me a lot if you could tell me the date of this trip since there can be a lot of snow if done too early in the summer 🙂
Amazing trip guys. My and a few adventure addicts are planning on similar trip to Iceland next year. We want to make sure we hit the best trails, are you willing to share your GPS track? How did you plan your route?
Hey Jonas – My brother & I are doing this Trail with our MTB Bikes in July. What was the bus company you used or best way to get to the trail head & back home? – We are staying in Reykjavik. – I reached out to a couple bus companies and said they can accommodate but can't guarantee a spot for our bikes on the bus depending on the number of people take the bus that daty.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions. looks EPIC – Your video inspired us to go
Hope everything is okay on your side (and your friends too!) 🙂.
I just wanted to thank you for the huge inspiration you gave me during my last year at university! You played a big part in my motivation to do a bike packing trip in Nepal !
So grateful for having found your channel! Incredible videos! Can’t wait for the next one !!😀
Hi Jonas, that's a great video. I am planning a trip next year to go from Akureyri to Skogar, finishing along the Laugavegur Trail. What route did you take for this section? Where is the narrow ridge at 1:50 in the video (it looks awesome!). How about the long traverse at 2:50? Do you have a gpx file, or map of your route? There seem to be so many options for the trail. Many thanks!
