The Pier to Pier Way Kingston Seymour to Wick St Lawrence, opened on the 5th July 2024. The “Pier to Pier” way is a mostly on road route from Clevedon to Weston Super Mare. The Tutshill Greenway links the village of Kingston Seymour to Wick St Lawrence over the former railway line. The new 1.4 Km route is a share path for Walkers, Cyclists and Horses, better suited for cyclists than walkers. The former Toll Road – Kewstoke road in Weston Super Mare can be busy, though currently has a 25mph limit. There is a parallel footpath along most of the former Toll Road and a less useable Bridleway along part of the road.
The Tutshill Greenway has some small deeper sections of gravel and best cycled with care on road bikes or best suited to Gravel bikes or bikes with wider tyres e.g 32c or bigger. The gravel may compact over time as it is bedding in as of July 2024
Walking from Clevedon to Tutshill Greenway has a long section of road without pavements until the King Charles III England Coast Path opens along the Clevedon to Sand Bay Stretch (2025?)

The Clevedon Pier end includes a short 400m cycle path, that has caused controversy with strange wiggly line markings , widely reported in the press.
