Cannes, or Cannes (French Cannes) is a resort town on the Cote d’Azur of France.

In the center of the old city rises the Suquet hill – the ancient Castrum Canois, the streets and houses of which are crowded along the slopes of Mount Chevalier.

The Suquet Tower, 22 meters high, is the most striking historical monument of the old city. And behind the fortress walls of Suquet is the Church of Our Lady of Hope (Notre-Dame de l’Esperance).

A sightseeing tram departs regularly from the famous cinema – site of the annual Cannes Film Festival. For numerous tourists, the excursion text is broadcast through headphones in different languages.
