Cycling around Tuusula, near the lake of Tuusulanjärvi, August 2020, Finland.
The Tuusulanjärvi lake attracted many artists in late 19th century. Composer Jean Sibelius, writer Juhani Aho, poet J. H. Erkko and painter Pekka Halonen even established their main residences here. Recently these houses have become tourist sites. On my route I also pass by the cottage of Aleksis Kivi, the Finnish national poet who spent the last years of his life in a hut on the shores of the lake,

hi. moi moi. i´m from Murcia ( spain) and i was this summer in Tuusula with family. is very very nice but lonely also
The area around Tuusulanjärvi is very beautiful and that's why so many artists have chosen to live or spend time around, maybe for inspiration.By the way Tuusula is the 3rd largest municipality in Finland that is not a town, after Nurmijärvi and Kirkkonummi.Very nice tour!
Beautiful place !!! Thanks for sharing 🙂 😃
