타데이 포가차르 ‘투르 드 프랑스’ 우승
Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar claimed a sensational Tour de France -Giro d’Italia double on Sunday by winning the stage 21 time trial into Nice.
Pogacar beat the defending champion Jonas Vingegaard of Denmark, and Remco Evenepoel from Belgium, with a margin of six minutes and 17 seconds, to cement his domination by winning the final stage for his sixth stage success.
25 year-old Pogacar won the 33.7 km individual time trial from Monaco to Nice in a span of 45 minutes and 24 seconds to become the first person to win two of cycling’s biggest races in the same year, since Italian Marco Pantani in 1998.
