Welcome back to Adventures in Millerland! Join us as we board our first Royal Caribbean cruise on Symphony of the Seas! We’ll be sailing away from Port Liberty, across the bay from New York City on a 7-night cruise down the east coast to the Bahamas where we’ll visit Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at Coco Cay.

Symphony of the Seas is one of the world’s largest cruise ships, and we got to experience so many new things on this cruise! You will see our amazing stateroom 8650, which is a suite, and we are excited to enjoy all the perks that come with living the suite life on Royal Caribbean. There is so much to do onboard the Symphony of the Seas and we’re gonna explore so many areas, or neighborhoods, which Royal Caribbean calls all of the unique spaces on the ship. We take you up on the Suite Deck as we sail away from New York and go under a bridge, which was so much fun! We also relax in the Suite Lounge and Coastal Kitchen for dinner, a restaurant reserved only for suite guests.

We can’t wait to share it all with you! Make sure you subscribe so you don’t miss any of our adventures on this 7-night cruise!

    1. We just booked our 1st RCL. Look frwd to comparing to DCL. Also thanks for including where you got your outfits. Always love the cruise attire ⚓.

    2. I absolutely loved this video and was so excited to see that you went on Royal Caribbean. I will be going on Quantum of the Seas through Royal Caribbean next month to Alaska and it be my 1st time as i have ever only cruised with Disney. So I am excited to see you adventures on the ship and how you enjoyed the cruise line. Also the speciality dining as we will be eating a Jamies as well.. As always thank you for all the work you do with making the content and sharing your family memories with us. I appreciate it ❤

    3. Just watching this makes me really excited about the disney treasure in april 2025 even if there not the same cruise lines and ive been on the exact course that the treasures going on with the dream

    4. Love it. The royal bathrooms in normal rooms are amazing with having a shower door vs a curtain but your suite is beautiful. Will have to try that and one of the bigger ships one day. I agree with the girls about the buffets. Windjammer is the best we’ve experienced on any cruise line. So many options.
Sailing under bridges is great – you will have to come to Australia one day and sail under Sydney Harbour Bridge (but only smaller ships such as Disney Wonder and the P&O Australia ships fit)

    5. I am so excited for this series and to learn more about RC! To compare what you have shown to concierge on Disney…..no coffee machines in suites on Disney except Royal suites. No dedicated restaurant for suite guests on Disney. Disney does have a dedicated lounge with hosts and happy hour from 5-10. DCL also has a private embarkation day lunch for concierge guests as well. On most ships during the concierge lunch the hosts come and meet with each family/stateroom to double check activities and requests. Disney could and should offer many more perks for the price point of concierge, IMO. So excited to see the rest of your experience!

    6. Aloha! Thank you for sharing! Sailing out of NY looked amazing! We’ve sailed Disney, NCL & Princess. We’d like to try RC someday. Their disembarkation ports and seasons don’t seem to work well for us but we’ll keep looking.

    7. You all are so amazing at sharing the important details! The way you describe everything is so helpful. I’ve been on many RC ships (including Oasis class) and I picked up some new info. 😊 We’ve only gone as far as Jr Suite but now definitely eyeballing that Suite Life. 🤣 Can’t wait for the next videos!

    8. I'm so excited to see the 2nd part of this adventure. We also went on a RC for the first time, and I'm afraid that we liked it too much! We went on Icon in June and loved it. Have 3 boys, and they're getting kind over Disney's cruises 😢 I still want to go on the Treasure, though!

    9. I enjoyed seeing this and hearing your perspective of RC! You made a great choice with the suite because the once a day room service and having the sofa bed folded down for the duration of our cruise was not ideal.

    10. Chris you have def done your homework on this ship! This is how I felt when I cruised on freedom of the seas huge!! But in one wk we’re going on grandeur of the seas which is a smaller ship but good to try it all. I think the girls love the ship not that you can’t do Disney cause I’m a big Disney girl but there getting older. Glad you had a good first day !!

    11. Okay so you have definitely convinced me to try RC (Suite life too!!) but I was curious while watching this video – how did you feel about the much bigger size at first? Also how did that affect letting the girls go off and do their own thing on a much bigger ship and lastly, cocktails and wine aside (since they were in your suite lounge) would you think the drink package is worth the cost for the freestyle machine aspect? Can't wait to see the rest of this series!! Thanks, Millers!!
