Canyon well might be good. Its a paperweight no LBM support. Overhyped might try SystemSix 2024 vs New Canyon CFR. SystemSix all they way bar none. Why Canyon makes changes marketing thinking your getting a revolutionary bike but honestly far from it. Gimmicks to buy but in the end it is the fit and power behind the cranks which make a good bike. OOPs I forgot Canyon might have good price points but watch out import taxes and fees make them just as expensive or even more.
They’re going for evolution rather than revolution. Bit like the 911 Porsche
50mil wheels just looks so much better than 60
👍🏻
I was just fixing to say "Looks almost the exact same as a 2017 model" and that was just because I picked a year at random since we all know the road bike frame has had a bit over a century to improve and for all intents and purposes it hasn't.
Hontestly I don't see a problem with it, you can't improve something forever, especially under a set of rules. Good thing is that older bikes are just as good unless you're doing a Tour the Fance and they'll be way more affordable simply because they're an older model
All extremely boring color options except for the CFR models at €10k … no customisation, … the price vs competitors is still good but you might as well pump out a little more for a well fitting bike that’s not this boring.
Pricing is a joke considering what you get. Bikes are closing in on cars aswell, everyone need to lease to afford a decent bike. Not one with Shimano 105.
This or the scott foil for 2025?
Custom crank arm length and stem length, otherwise not interested. They're leaving behind lots of potential clients that are between sizes
I'm a simple man, there is a click bait I unsub and click on "never show me vids from this channel again"
STOP THIS WAR !!!
The marketing team all lost their jobs on Monday after the best placed rider on one was 4h and 44min behind the winner 😂😂😂
You're only going to see small changes now as they evolve. No interest in Aero bikes though.
The Aero concept is ridiculous for amateur riders. The dude who adds +- 2kg extra on his bike to use an aero bike, has no idea what is doing… It is like those who buy a Lamborghini to drive in a city 30 miles an hour.
Looks like your chain is too short mate !
Thanks for all your work btw !!
Yes, a very boring bike and a very boring review.
What a dumb video title…
There's something about last version that makes it more classy. Not a fan of the glassy finish and mirror decals. Last head tube looked much nicer. Cleaner bars. And yeah, default should be aero flares on an aero focused bike.
It isnt an Aero-Bike!
While I dont think there is a lot of improvements that will be done in form of aerodynamics on the bikes, there is definitely room for improvement on even the latest bikes like this Canyon. Like ease of maintenance, adjustability, customisation. Tyre clearance of 32mm already seems too small the bigger tyre trend. And in addition I would want the weight to be even lower as 7,1kg is excluding pedals, computers etc.
What is really boring about this bike is the color. So tired of dull, gun metal, primer grey paint. Jeesh!
Full of your negatives – then goes on to say how amazing it is. How it has all the best parts of competitors bikes 😂😂 weirdo
BMC teammachine 01 was the first with most of these things you mention 🙂
Wish they offered it in frame/fork.
Very underwhelming update imo and many of the bikes have a dated design now. I have the ultimate and waited for this release but it seems to be a waste of time, the scott foil RC and orbea orca aero are both better looking bikes imo and will probably be my next purchase unless Canyon reduce the price for this release. Glad to see they did away with the staggered depth wheels for the XS/S sizes, or at least it looks that way for now……..
Riding a bike that looks good is more fun than riding a bike that looks like the most boring piece of wedge shaped carbon on earth.
I prefed the Scott Foil
disc for dirt, rim for road enough said
So the end of aero bikes is an aero bike that does everything including being aero? And it’s more affordable than similarly speced bikes from other brands. Seems pretty solid all the way around
