Come to North Macedonia hungry; hungry for adventure and hungry for great food. You probably know one of the deepest lakes in the world, Ohrid Lake, but Trans Dinarica also takes you to lesser-known Lake Prespa on the other side of Galičica NP, through which you will have to press hard on the pedals to climb over the pass between the two lakes.
Take time to walk around friendly Bitola, to explore the wild natural surroundings of Mavrovo NP and to visit the slightly more chaotic Tetovo on the eastern side of Šar Mountain NP.

What is approx percentage of separated bike routes of the whole Transdinarica? I’m just worried about safety, because cycling among autos, especially on Balkans, is extremely dangerous.
