  1. It was fine. I enjoyed it. But definitely would not say that it was more enjoyable or more "special" or more interesting or more meaningful or eventful than any other Tour. Pog dominated from start to finish. Which is great… if you're a Pog fan. Not so great if you're not. Jonas wasn't 100% so that rivalry wasn't as exciting and unpredictable as previous years. Same with Wout. Same with with Primoz. Same with Remco. And… so Cav won a 36th stage. Cool for him. Not a big deal for anyone else. Aside from that one win he did nothing else of note or import in the entire race. And neither did anyone else on his team. So… to me.. it was a waste of an entire pro team for an entire Tour de France… just for that one narcissistic vanity project. The weather cooperated–except perhaps for the heat–which was nice. A rainy Tour is a boring and dangerous Tour. There weren't too many bad crashes or serious injuries. Thankfully. Nobody died. But overall, with Tadej dominating the way he did, I'd say it was a pretty boring Tour. Like… where was Pidcock? Where was Thomas?

  2. Really ? it was one of the most boring tours to date and a reminiscence of the Armstrong days , you could tell Pogacar was going to walk the tour after those first couple of stages , to do a Giro-TDF double without breaking a sweat , he must be on more gear than Armstrong was

  3. Aaaahhhhh, not the best. More like the Tadej Pogacar show! Here in the States, they used to show every stage on regular tv, live and on tape later. This year, you needed a subscription service to watch live. Many of us were turned off by that cash grab and just watched the replays here on YT.

  4. Tour with little suspense. I guess Cavendish win, Bardet win and Pogacars performance will keep it somewhat memorable but nowhere near the top for me. Pretty much middle of the pack, far from the worst either of course.

  5. It was a great one as always. It was pogs best. But otherwise, same as other tdfs not particularly better and certainly not the best ever – with jonas in somewhat injury recovery phase,… But it was fun – i wait for it every year it is cool to watch. It is such a tough sport

  6. In terms of suspense, it was one of the worst. In terms of level, it was one of the best. Parcours was a bit underwhelming in the first 10 stages with very few opportunities for GC candidates. The last balding the race was frankly a predictable procession with each GC rider staring down at his power meter after each of Pogs inevitable attacks.

  7. Some of the blandest stages/days ever. However the performances by Pog were immense. Shame his three nearest rivals are recovering from crashes. Cav victory and Bini – Carapaz etc were highlights, UAE were certainly Galacticos. Bardet also a positive. The Pog 10km cat 1 attack go to catch the breakaway with more than 1km spare was 😮😮😮😮 9th on overall stages i think now. Jonas beat him by a rim to take a stage

  8. Special mention to Netflix for inspiring a new generation of fans.

I never paid much attention to the Tour until I watched the Netflix documentary and became a Pogi fan for life.

    I didn’t miss a single stage😂

  9. So many great stories from this years Tour de France…. A historic Giro/Tour double, first African green jersey winner, a historic 35 wins, retirements, a comeback, first Ecuadorian jersey winner… it’s great!
