Its the 2nd part of our trip to Reedley Marina. We left you last time halfway through the Industrial town of Burnley. We had been told Burnley was a another no go area but all seemed calm & the views of the surrounding hills were lovely shame about all the trees blocking the scenery. Of course as with all urban canals there was a fair bit of rubbish floating about but it looked like there had been a bit of a clear up recently. Our aim for today was to reach Reedley marina for a well earned nights stay on a marina. We don’t use Marinas much but were sure glad we did. The facilities bar & views were stunning & it didn’t break the bank either. Check out their website www.reedleymarina.co.uk for all their details.
Its a shame we only stopped the 1 night but were on a mission to get to the end of the Leeds Liverpool before we head towards our winter grounds.

Loving these videos. Have often walked from Pilkington bridge Clayton le moors out to Burnley & back. Always have a natter with the passing boaters. Did a little trip through Foulridge tunnel many moons ago when the kids were little uns. To my knowledge it’s pronounced fullridge
