  1. How it can be even thing in a middle of summer, such nonsense if someone wants to promote this covidjoke from dead.

  2. no, you have no obligation to withdraw from the race if you have COVID. i also have no obligation to wash my hands after i use the bathroom, i do it because it’s the decent thing to do. if there’s a chance that i infect my teammates, staff, or competitors, i know what i would do.

  3. Covid ended 2 years ago. It might be another type flu, but not 19.
(of course it might not even be flu, the dropouts might be due to something they ate for breakfast 😉 )

  4. When I had Covid my resting pulse rate was 70 bpm compared to my normal resting pulse rate of 50 +/- 5 it was a big difference, I don't see how anyone could complete a stage in the tour with Covid, even if they have covid-light.

  5. Christmas 2021 I was in hospital with Covid (Delta strain) for 4 days. My oxygen levels were on the low side. Last June I was in Thailand where Covid was rife as it was on the news over there. I came home via Amsterdam as I wanted to visit friends who I never seen because of Covid. A couple of days later I tested positive for Covid…all I had was a slight sore throat and a slight headache. Whilst having Covid I went out one day on my E-mountain bike and the next on my gravel bike…I cycled up this steep at the start then mellow hill which I've done a few times…the Tour Of Britain riders done the same hill obviously much quicker. Anyway, I uploaded the ride on Strava…about 30 miles I think and my fastest Strava time up this 2.9 mile hill was faster with Covid than all my rides without Covid on my gravel bike. So weird.
