We started, or at least I started, by going the wrong way. But after regrouping at a Boulangerie for breakfast. We again followed the Eurovelo 4 route across Brittany from Saint Brieuc. Heading towards Dinard and the ferry crossing to Saint Malo, the walled city. But despite the route taking us through a field, just the sheer infrastructure on this route, with stunning bridges and segregated paths, just blew us away. That was until coming off a roundabout, Pete had a fight with a kerb segregating the road from the path, and lost!!! Bleeding from his wounds, we rolled into Dinard eventually, to catch the ferry, just a little bit Hangry! After refuelling at one of the best Burgers I’ve ever had at Roadhouse, we raced in the rain to our Airbnb in Dol de Bretagne. Which went well, until our lovely French speaking host left us, and we both had interpreted the door code differently, and neither were right! Some idiot had left his phone in the accommodation!! A few frantic attempts to contact the host later, and we were in! A night on the town and Mont Saint Michel in the morning. I do love this bike-packing malarkey! #eurovelo4

Great vid again Darren. Oh my days…the cakes at the beginning! Love the 360 footage over the bridge. And what a gorgeous tree lined ‘boulevard’. Nice ferry. So much to like and as you said great countryside. 👏😊
Dinard and St Malo happy memories!!
Wish those 360 degree action cameras had existed when I biked from Roscoff down to Nice in 2005. All I’ve got is some physical pics and the ones stored in those little grey cells 😢
