On the 16th of June 2024, I competed in the London to Brighton bike ride for the British Heart Foundation. The amount of training I done on the build up to this event was very limited and by the end of the ride, I think I paid for it. With an absurd, finishing time of six hours and 15 minutes to do 54 miles.
With an average speed of 8.5 miles an hour definitely setting no records. But an amazing top speed of 38 miles an hour elevation gained was 725 feet, and I felt every foot.
I would love to say I enjoyed this event. The start was good. The end was amazing but a lot of the stuff in between was very painful. I’d like to thank everyone that sponsored me for this event for the British Heart Foundation. Thank you so much.
A big thank you for the music for this video.
