On this one Ian and me head to Warrington and then pickup the Bridgewater canal, then on to the Trent and Mersey canal before finishing the day on The Middlewich branch.

    1. Nice ride Dave, canal tow paths can be slow going. I've ridden along quite a few tow paths now and the one thing I was glad of was a suspension seat post. Sorry you got trapped by the pub and had to suffer an extra pint. Torture, life can be so unfair. I now have to suffer a pint of Guinness with my fish n chips:) Nowt wrong in my view pitching on the tow path, there looked to be plenty of room.

    2. Nice one Dave and Ian – enjoyed part 1 – tow paths, mud, rain and beers – then more rain and beers, and would you believe it…..another spot of rain with a pub nearby for shelter 😂😂 Looked hard work mind, enjoyed the vid, but one thing has really scarred me mentally…..the angle that Ian had his pizza box on, oh my lord! Never mind mudslides on the tow paths…..surely that pizza topping had to have slipped off faster than the great embankment failure of 2012!! 🤣 Looking forward to part 2 lads 🙂

    3. The Bridgewater towpath from Dunham then Westbis an absolute disgrace with brambles blocking a rutted and muddy path. The rut is so deep between Dunham and Lymm your pedals are grounding. Dunham then to Wigan is flat and hard surfaced all the way. The Trent and Mersey isxevery bit as bad. Both towpaths aren't even safe to walk in places.
