      Tadej: remember how you crushed me the last two years and left me gasping??….Remember?….. Then Tadej put the gears into overdrive and left Jonas gasping in a most brutal way….just meters away from victory…..Brutally yanked away by Tadej final sprint to the line……The King has returned……Tadej drops the mic and walks off stage with his crown restored….

      The new crop of doping addicts has truly emerged in cycling. These performances are completely unbelievable. And you've been living under a rock if you think they do this with a glass of beet juice.

      Jonas will be dangerous next year but it’s Tadej’s year. The situation almost the reverse of last year with Jonas coming back from injury, admittedly worse than Tadej’s, and Jonas’ team was weaker due to injury and illness. It’s almost like the cycling gods evening the score.

      This is Jonas' best ride in perhaps the last 30 TdF stages. He drove with Remco and Poggi literally without the help of the team. He fought for second place in the GC. Overtook those who escaped him for a few minutes. He showed more in the last 8 km than in the previous 30 stages. In the end, he ran out of strength and gestured with his left hand to Poggi to pass because he was exhausted. When Poggi jumped, Jonas just stood up in order to give it his all and finish the stage.
      I am sure that Poggi was not going to win the stage. However, when JV started to catch up with everyone on the track who were a few minutes ahead of him, he allowed Poggi to easily win.

      The most dreadful commentary and punditry imaginable. SKY is off the scale awful. Mr Kelly is a treasure, McKewen was a top end sprinter. Orla whatever is super appalling and nothing g more than a token. The other dudes are as camp as Christmas and as wet as a Bank Holiday weekend.

      Typical of Pog tho. He didn’t need to take time. He could have just come in front of V leading him in together in a gesture of respect. V knew he couldn’t out sprint him. A true champion with a head for how he will be viewed wouldn’t have sprinted in to take even more time.

      Pogi was simply just a beast this year. Loosing two consecutivel TDFs obviously was enough motivation to drive his passion to bounce back and regain glory. 🚴

      No offense to the other rider this is for all the riders the tour de france is much more exciting when there are few rivals competing salute to tadej and jonas who made the tour more exciting i hope to see them once again in the next tour salute to you guys everybody is a winner that is why the TDF is fun to watch

      Jonas is exceptional. He displayed true grit! What an act of courage and determination after surviving that tremendous accident. To me, he's the true champion of the tour regardless of rank and position.
