While the weather hasn’t been quite as stable as one might desire during this summer and vacation alike there was still a handful of days where things looked decent enough for a new tour in (mostly) good weather. Given that I’ve only done 4-5 day long trips before things have been more predictable, but as this one was double the length (and height meters) compared to my previous ones it was a perhaps a bit optimistic to avoid rain and such completely.
Still as enjoyable as always to see the sights and end up in places one didn’t know even existed – which is part of the charm of touring for sure.
850km, 9 days of biking + 1 rest day to allow for some sightseeing and recovery alike.
