    1. Very pricey, not doubt, but it is bespoke. Electric?, well personally I’d prefer an efficient 1.0 petrol engine. However, for people staggered at the price, there are morons who pay 200k plus for a Porsche or BWW something or other. I’ll have one of these thanks.

    2. The Gendarmes in the south of France or in the sunny places like the West Indies used to use them as patrol vehicles. They were around till the mid 80’s

    3. When I was young we lived in the south of Spain – and my Mum had an orange Mehari! I'm sure at the time it was one of the cheapest new cars available. I can't recall whether we had the fabric doors – I think we might have.

    4. Starting to see a few of these around us here in Provence down in the South of France. They look fun but can really hold up the traffic in summer 😂😂😂 They are certainly selling well albeit production is small.

    5. Would I buy a car with no doors? Yes – and I have but its not a Mehari and its not electric. It is of course a Seven. Also not an everyday car but a lot less money and a little quicker… .. maybe if I lived in Cassis though??

    6. I'm sorry but just stay away from the classics. Do not revamp a classic and put an electric unit in it. Besides that it's absolutley not invirementle. And it's very very sick making. The electric smog is unbelieveble high. I just don't understand that a man like you who love classics is promoting this. Makes me leaving your chanel

    7. I think the problem will be the battery. Tweaking the motor will need a bigger battery and it doesn’t need to be heavier 😂😂😂

    8. Really reminds me of a Volkswagen Thing, like the one Patty & Selma drive (simpsons). Love weird stuff like this! Also, I can’t hear the word “tubular” anymore without visualising Ribbons from the not great Doctor Who episode “It takes you away”.
