I was on a 11-day vacation in Czech Republic. I wanted to see how nice the Czech people were to a black man from America. I traveled all over the country of Czech Republic and encountered many, many people and people were for the most part pretty nice, some would speak, but for the most party everyone spoke. I got a lot of double, and triple takes when I walked around in public, some people starred from a distance and also some starred from up close.

I stayed in a small village population of about 230 people, traveled to the capital Prague twice, the city of Budejovice three times, many villages on the exterior of the city and to the country of Austria. I probably saw 4 black people during my entire 11-day trip and those were in Prague. The Black population in the Czech Republic is estimated to be around 1-2% of the total population.

My entire trip was really good and I would go back again, people did not bother you and seemed to treat me with respect and if you spoke to them, they usually spoke back, I would say they were nicer than the people here in the United States just my opinion.
