For the first time this year, Vingegaard tried to be aggressive, and he was punished badly. Perhaps costed him the tour.
Am I the only one that thinks Jonas situation after the crash was not so bad as they wanted us to think? His performance on this stage was superb, likely his best performance.
But Tadej is simply at another level, being in top shape or not he is synonym of spectacle.
Return of the king of the mountains
Mistake to look back when you're toasted!. Still, Jonas has another good chance in the Alps,
Pogacer smasked it, again. Letting the cycling do the talking, and ignoring JV's uselss trashtalk.
Jonas’s best level is still to come. You will see it in futures tours. He wasn’t gonna achieved it this tour because he had bad lead up, missed altitude training, tour prep, lead up races. In the future he will surprise you. We got a taste of his potential in the 2023 tour TT.
