Introducing Hoshino Resort’s newest hotel in Hakodate, Hokkaido!
I stayed at the newly opened “OMO5 Hakodate by Hoshino Resorts” on its grand opening day, July 6, 2024!
The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station, facing an old bustling downtown area, making it a perfect base for exploring Hakodate.
At the hotel, you can enjoy a seafood breakfast buffet unique to Hakodate and relax in the onsen with natural hot spring water.
The design of the public spaces reflects the charm of Hakodate’s streets, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay.

Additionally, the hotel’s free “Hakodate Guruguru Free Bus” makes it easy to move between major tourist spots. We are excited to share a detailed report on our stay right after the opening. Please relax and enjoy the vlog-style presentation.

  1. It was most definitely worth the price for that breakfast. The view from the room is very nice, especially at night. I loved seeing the fog run in over the city and up the mountain; it added a little mystery to the view. As you said, it's a great base for exploring the city.
