  1. This show could've been great. It's too much. From someone who's been in this environment for 20 years, it puts a very bleak on our culinary world. For every time Ii be cried or thrown something there was a bigger time I laughed with my kitchen family. This show doesn't even give moments of relief, laughter or triumph. It's too bleak. It's amazing how people love to watch misery. What is wrong with society? This show is depressing, sad and won't even give a moment for smiles. Y'all can have it. The kitchen is beautiful chaos. Starting a restaurant is a beautiful struggle. Similar to life. Where's the beautiful moments in this show. Season 1 had some…now it's just for people who must love misery. I graduated from FCI back in 2002. Yes, the culinary world is beyond tough. Add in trying to become a restauranteur…. crazy tough and with one of the highest attrition rates. Still fun! Still moments in that kitchen I cried with laughter and success. Late nights, drinking.. smoking or whatever you do after clean up. Reflecting on the day and the fact that we not only still standing but will be ready to go the next day. And the next. You have to include those moments in this show. Of anyone young is watching this show don't be discouraged. While it is as difficult at times as they depict it. There are so many more moments of joy in the reality doing this line of work. We all have problems. There is no better cure for taking your mind off of those than being in the kitchen and getting completely smashed with tickets. 😂

  2. I feel like the bear just helped me through another tough time , where I was asking myself this old question again, like why did I became a chef… its sooooo fucked up sometimes its just sooo much … and than its so wonderful and great at the same time …
i stoped counting the times where I wanted to quit and do something ´´normal´´…. but then at the end .. there is nothing more pure and wonderful then this … idk but this goes out to all of us…. I feel like we are very special people … i believe that a person, who spends a lifetime cooking food for living can not be a truly shitty person … we are on a weird path but I believe its a very good one at the end of the day …
thank to all of my chefs … 🖕love y'all

  4. I get what they are trying to do with season 3, but the first episode was garbage. I liked season 1 and 2, but the first episode of season 3 was garbage. The way he talks softly, long clips of him cutting and plating, the Lame music 😂 I’m sure all the pretentious artsy people will say it’s beautiful lol. And the second episode was just as lame.

  5. Does everyone anyone agree that they should have episode dedicated to Uncle jimmy, delving into his mysterious background would be quite entertaining without a doubt if written right.
